Kenyan Wants To Sell Coffee Directly
I am a Kenyan coffee farmer from a region called Embu, who would like to become more knowledgeable about selling
my coffee internationally as opposed to the local auction system which forever puts farmers in deficit due to their use of
middlemen. Direct sales is something that has recently been liberalised in our country but i have no idea as to the first
steps of making contact with a buyer internationally.
I would truly appreciate any information you can send me.

Sad and Amazing!
(Comment on the Commentary "Still Bound By The Shackles of Slavery" published on June 23 , 2007)
I just read an article this week about slave labor in China. It is both sad and amazing how slavery exists in today's
global society. Blind ignorance and 'turning the other cheek' is intolerable when it comes to understanding gross
production and manufactured goods. Profits that come from the backs of slaves, child labor, and unhumanitarian acts
should be shared publicly so that the buying public can make educated choices when it comes to making purchases.
Boycott those who abuse!
The Coffee Monitor is helping to reach out and educate consumers around the world. Keep up the great work.

What a Site!
What a site. It is very informative unique and orginal . I admire your insight and ability to compile infromation. I also like
the idea of the site. I say it was long over due. You are right our coffee is unique and probably the best coffee in the
world in terms or aroma and taste, and therefore the people that produce it should be compensated proportinally.
